Lila’s stage credits include work with the Royal Shakespeare Company (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare in Music), Shakespeare’s Globe (King John, The Taming of the Shrew – workshops), National Theatre Scotland, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Park Theatre (world premiere musical adaptation of Thérèse Raquin), and Jermyn Street Theatre (UK premiere of The Kissing-Dance). She has toured extensively in Whisky Galore (Hull Truck, New Vic and Oldham Coliseum) and appeared in acclaimed family productions at the Unicorn Theatre, including Baddies and Marvin’s Binoculars.
Lila plays Shirley Atkins in Dept. Q, Netflix’s breakout crime thriller of 2025 . Set against the moody streets of Edinburgh, the series captivated audiences worldwide, topping Netflix charts and earning over 25 million views.
Lila appeared in the final season of The Crown for Netflix, playing the Eton journalist opposite Ed McVey and Luther Ford.
Working with award-winning director Kathryn Ferguson, Lila plays Maud Bogart in this drama documentary that uses Bogart's own words, drawn from interviews and text, to tell his life story through the perspective of the five women closest to him.
Just a Walk - British Short Film Awards Nomination
Lila’s debut short film Just A Walk, which she co-wrote and produced, was awarded the 2023 McLaren x Creative Access Bursary The audio-led short went on to receive a nomination at the British Short Film Awards

Making her RSC debut, Lila played the role of Moth and understudied/ played Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Erica Whyman.
Lila was selected to take part in development lab–style workshops over six months, exploring approaches to Shakespeare’s text, including King John and The Taming of the Shrew, at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
An all-female cast brought fresh energy to Whisky Galore, with Lila appearing as part of Oldham Coliseum, Hull Truck and New Vic’s UK tour. This bold reimagining celebrated female storytelling at its heart and offered a contemporary take on the much-loved Scottish classic.
